    An article published by Marketing Land states that affiliate marketing is poised to grow to $4.5 billion by 2016.

    Affiliate marketing is already used by the top 25 retailers in the U.S. and the U.K., but according to Marketing Mag, only 4% of the top 25 retailers currently use affiliate marketing in Australia.

    Stricter regulations by the FTC which include policies stating that affiliate marketer’s must inform their prospects that they are being paid commissions for their referrals, is just one of the the mistakes many new affiliate marketer's make here in the U.S. said DC Fawcett.
